The National Park Service (NPS) has officially awarded the operation of Gateway Marina, located within the Jamaica Bay Unit of Gateway National Recreation Area, to Moonbeam Leasing & Management LLC.

Moonbeam Leasing & Management LLC is a subsidiary of Moonbeam Capital Investments LLC, a private equity firm with a national portfolio of commercial and residential redevelopments.

Moonbeam’s proposal was selected based on its strong commitment to upgrading and modernizing the marina’s infrastructure in line with NPS standards. Planned improvements include revitalizing the property’s overall appearance, expanding amenities, and enhancing the experience for the boating community.
Operations under Moonbeam’s management were scheduled to begin in April 2018, marking the start of a new chapter for Gateway Marina as it continues to grow as a cornerstone of New York City’s waterfront recreation.
